Pulse Park Rules and Regulations

Welcome to Pulse Park, your premier multi-sport facility dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and community in a safe and respectful environment. To ensure the well-being of all visitors, staff, and the integrity of our facilities, we enforce a strict set of rules and regulations. All visitors, members, and guests must comply with these guidelines at all times. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in immediate removal from the premises, suspension or termination of membership/booking privileges, and potential legal action. Pulse Park operates a zero-tolerance policy for violations that endanger safety, disrupt operations, or infringe on others' rights.

These rules apply to all areas of the facility, including sports courts, fields, gyms, locker rooms, common areas, parking lots, and any events hosted on-site. By entering Pulse Park or making a booking, you agree to abide by these regulations.

1. General Conduct and Behaviour

Respect for Others:

Treat all fellow visitors, staff, and participants with courtesy and respect. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or any form of verbal, physical, or emotional abuse based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited. This includes derogatory language, gestures, or actions.

Treatment of Staff:

Staff members are here to assist and ensure a positive experience. Any form of verbal abuse, intimidation, threats, or physical aggression toward staff will result in immediate expulsion and a permanent ban from the facility. Follow staff instructions at all times, especially regarding safety and facility operations.

Treatment of Other Visitors:

Interactions with other visitors must be positive and non-disruptive. Do not interfere with others' activities, such as encroaching on booked spaces, distracting players, or engaging in unsolicited coaching/advice. Disputes between visitors must be resolved peacefully or reported to staff; self-escalation is not permitted.

Violence and Aggressive Behaviour:

Zero tolerance for any acts of violence, including fighting, pushing, shoving, or threats of harm. Aggressive behavior, such as yelling, slamming equipment, or invading personal space, is strictly forbidden. Offenders will be removed immediately, and law enforcement may be involved.

Noise Levels:

Maintain a reasonable noise level to avoid disturbing others. Loud music, shouting, or excessive cheering is prohibited unless part of an organized event approved by management. Personal audio devices must be used with headphones at a volume that does not leak sound.

Children and Minors:

Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Unsupervised minors may be asked to leave. Parents/guardians are fully responsible for their children's behavior and compliance with all rules.

2. Prohibited Substances and Items

Banned Substances:

The use, possession, distribution, or sale of illegal drugs, performance-enhancing substances (e.g., anabolic steroids), or any controlled substances not prescribed by a licensed physician is strictly prohibited. This includes marijuana (even if legal in some jurisdictions) and other recreational drugs. Violators will face immediate removal and potential reporting to authorities.

Alcohol and Tobacco:

Alcohol consumption or possession is not allowed anywhere on the premises, including parking areas. Smoking, vaping, or use of tobacco products (including e-cigarettes and chewing tobacco) is restricted to designated smoking areas.

Weapons and Dangerous Items:

Firearms, knives, explosives, or any items that could be used as weapons are strictly banned. This includes sports equipment modified for harmful purposes. Bags and belongings may be subject to inspection upon entry.

Other Prohibited Items:

Glass containers, fireworks, drones, laser pointers, or any items that could pose a safety hazard or disrupt activities are not permitted.

3. Facility and Equipment Usage

Abuse of Equipment and Property:

Treat all equipment, facilities, and property with care. Intentional damage, vandalism, theft, or misuse (e.g., throwing equipment, climbing on structures not designed for it, or altering setups) is strictly prohibited. Users are financially responsible for any damage caused by negligence or violation.

Proper Use:

Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose and in designated areas. Do not modify, relocate, or monopolize equipment without permission. Return all items to their proper storage after use. Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately.

Cleanliness and Hygiene:

Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness. Littering, spitting, or leaving personal items unattended is not allowed. Locker rooms must be kept tidy; overnight storage is prohibited.

Attire and Safety Gear:

Appropriate athletic attire and non-marking footwear are required for all activities. Shirts must be worn at all times except in designated swimming areas (if applicable). Safety gear (e.g., helmets, pads) must be used where required by the sport or activity. Barefoot participation is only allowed in specific classes like yoga.

Booking and Access:

Access is granted only during booked times or open hours. Unauthorized entry to restricted areas (e.g., staff offices, storage) is forbidden. Bookings must be honored; no-shows or overstaying may result in fees or loss of privileges. Group bookings require all participants to comply with rules.

4. Safety and Health Protocols

Injury Reporting:

Report all injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to staff immediately. Do not attempt to self-treat or ignore potential hazards.

Health Considerations:

Do not enter the facility if you are ill or showing symptoms of contagious diseases. Follow all health guidelines, including hand sanitizing and mask requirements if mandated by local authorities.

Emergency Procedures:

Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures. In case of fire, medical emergency, or evacuation, follow staff directives without delay. Tampering with safety equipment (e.g., fire alarms, extinguishers) is a serious offense.

Photography and Recording:

Personal photography or video recording is allowed only with the consent of all individuals involved and must not disrupt activities. Commercial or professional recording requires prior management approval. Drones or surveillance devices are prohibited.

5. Environmental and Community Standards

Sustainability:

Respect our commitment to the environment by recycling where possible and avoiding waste. Do not tamper with energy-saving features like lights or other systems.

Pets and Animals:

Only service animals certified under applicable laws are permitted. Pets are strictly prohibited.

Advertising and Solicitation:

Unauthorised posting of flyers, selling goods, or soliciting (e.g., for teams, coaching) is not allowed without management approval.

6. Consequences for Violations

Minor Infractions:

Verbal warning and potential temporary suspension for first-time minor offenses (e.g., noise violations).

Major Infractions:

Immediate removal from the premises, suspension of access (up to permanent ban), and possible fines for damages. Serious violations (e.g., violence, substance abuse) will involve law enforcement and may lead to civil or criminal charges.

Reporting:

Violations can be reported anonymously to management. Pulse Park reserves the right to review security footage and take action based on evidence.

Appeals:

Decisions on suspensions or bans are final but may be appealed in writing to management within 7 days, providing evidence of compliance or extenuating circumstances.

Pulse Park management reserves the right to update these rules at any time. For questions or clarifications, contact us at info@pulse-mw.com.
